As the Team Leader of Team Real Local and Content Creator for the Real Local brand of YouTube channels, Joey and his team strive to bring the core values “Work Hard, Be Kind” and “Make Everyone Feel Important” to every interaction!

A native Floridian with small-town roots and big city experience, Joey’s been practicing as a local Real Estate Advisor in Central Florida since 2008.  After attending the University of Central Florida, Joey’s real estate hobby inevitably evolved into his career as a professional Realtor. 

After serving the Central Florida community for over 10 years, Joey and his family decided to move east to Florida’s Space Coast. During the move from Orlando to Merritt Island, Joey experienced first hand the challenges families face when relocating to a new city. This inspired Joey to help other families relocating to, or out of the area. Shortly after, the Real Local media company was born!

Real Local provides educational content about the Space Coast and Central Florida by leveraging the power of video primarily through YouTube. “Moving to a new place can be a real challenge if you don’t know a lot about the area. I’m talking all the small details you don’t typically learn about until after you’ve already made the move. Video is so powerful because it helps us to educate and connect with thousands of people a day through our YouTube Channel @RealLocalFL. We’re able to get them the information they need before they have to make any major decisions which makes the entire process of buying or selling a whole lot smoother and enjoyable!” 

Joey’s approach as a real estate advisor and problem solver has been the key to helping others successfully achieve their real estate goals. Having experienced different real estate market cycles and phases, Joey is adaptable and understands the need for out of the box thinking and creativity when developing winning real estate strategies and solutions. “I love connecting with new people and being able to provide solutions that allow them to optimize their day to day lifestyles through real estate. Over the years, I’ve learned there’s no one size fits all approach. You have to listen to people and truly understand their needs in order to offer the best solutions for their unique situation.”

When he’s not selling real estate, Joey enjoys spending time with his family and living the Florida lifestyle to its fullest! As an avid outdoorsman, you might find him fishing the Indian River Lagoon, surfing Cocoa Beach with his sons, exploring or hunting the woods near the St. John’s River, or hammock camping somewhere in Florida’s beautiful landscape. Joey also likes to give back to the local community and also spends his time coaching lacrosse at Merritt Island High School and serving as president of Merritt Island Lacrosse Club, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to growing and developing the sport of lacrosse on Merritt Island and surrounding communities.
